Dye signature course was rated "Number One" by Charlotte's Business Journal. The course will impress the very best players with its strategically placed bunkers, G2 bent grass greens, and Meyer Zoysia fairways. Featuring an endless variety of strategic angles of play from multiple tee boxes, the NorthStone golf course will encourage good course management yet tease the more adventurous golfer.
The Club launched the Academy of Golf at NorthStone in 2001. The Academy features an indoor/outdoor hitting facility complete with video, training aids and golf-specific fitness equipment. A variety of lesson options are available to take your game to the next level.
Besides the ultimate golfing experience, NorthStone Country Club offers Members four swimming pools, three Plexi-pave tennis courts, children's play center and picnic area. NorthStone offers a number of children's programs including summer camps, Nike Junior Golf School, junior golf and tennis clinics, swim team and swim lessons, and a variety of teen activities. Mike Spruell (Broker/ePro) graduated from Northwood University in 1991 with a degree in business management. He managed several steel related businesses in Michigan until moving to North Carolina in 1999. From that time until 2004 he also worked in business management. He began his real estate career in 2004 and became a partner with his mother Karen. His responsibilities include website design and maintenance, processing, advertising, and sales. Karen and Mikes combined sales have been over $8,000,000 yearly.
Janet Shawgo (Broker) associated with Lake Norman Realty, Inc in 2004 after relocating from Pennsylvania. She gained a vast amount of knowledge & experience as a real estate assistant to a multi-million dollar agent. Her many responsibilities included website maintenance, advertising, and processing. She is very excited about her career in sales.
Gerri Lynn Kemper is the newest member of the Lake Norman Homes Team, following the path of the many licensed Brokers in her family, she is the sister of Karen and aunt of Mike. She and her husband Gary moved from Indiana to Lake Norman in 2005 after she retired from the U.S. Post Office. She began working for the postal service right out of high school and became the youngest postmaster in Indiana at the age of 27. She also assisted in her family owned Real Estate Business and retail appliance/furniture store making her an expert at customer relations.
